I don't know if it was the long work week {for Todd that is} or what, but once the weekend rolled around we were just drained!So we decided to have an "us" weekend.
And it was lovely.
Earlier Friday, Todd had discovered Battery Park City while fishing with the scouts and was dying to
take me. So Saturday night, we grabbed the long board, put on some mittens, and headed down to
explore.
It was so enjoyable riding along the Hudson with my handsome husband and imagining ourselves sailing
around the world one day on a beautiful yacht like the ones docked in the harbor....someday.
Todd's work nights have gradually gotten longer and looonnnggerr, so any time we can
spend together is thoroughly enjoyed.
The night reminded me of us back in Provo.
Dating.
And falling in love.
Oh how fun! Gosh I need to quit my job and hang out with you so you aren't lonely if Todd works late. :) You guys are so cute together, that sounds like so much fun!
