a day in oxford.

over the weekend, we took a train to oxford for the day. when we were deciding whether or not to move to london, our biggest factor for doing so was all of the travel that we could enjoy—france, spain, africa, you name it. although this was not a big trip, it felt very special to me as it was our first one!

i cannot even begin to describe how beautiful this town was, and i don't think the pictures will do it justice. when we arrived i thought, now this is how i pictured england. thatched roofs. cobblestone streets. breathtaking architecture. it was beautiful. i also kept telling todd how every street looked like it came straight out of harry potter {which the majority of them did!} i love this town, and if you come to visit us then i will take you {yes, that is a bribe}
this is the very spot C.S. Lewis stood for inspiration to the chronicles of narnia.
