sometimes {read: all the time}, harper and i hang out on the floor all day. we pile our toys around us—ducky, crinkle books, the winkel, sophie. you know, the crew—and we just play. before harper came into my life, i wondered what mothers did with their children day after day after day! it boggled my mind. but now i know, and i love it, and i wouldn't trade it for the world.

love on top.
this song makes me so happy and instantly brightens my day!
and can we talk about this video?
her hair...her wardrobe...her voice...her moves...
amazing!
i love b!
and while we're on this topic,
have i mentioned that our girls are going to be besties?
since they are both due in february, i'm feeling pretty lucky that we'll end up
sharing a hospital room together.
{that is if she hasn't already bought out the entire east wing}

farewell east village. hello downtown!
say hello to our new home!
we officially signed the lease yesterday and i could not be more ecstatic.
this has been the most painful process,
so i can't even imagine how it must feel to actually buy a home!
but now that it's done, i want to stay in this apartment forever
so that i never ever ever have to look again.
while our lease at our current apartment isn't up until may 1st,
i'm too excited to wait and am hoping to begin moving over this week.
anybody of up a packing party!?
i've got a living room full of boxes.
no literally, it's FULL of boxes.
get ready downtown, cause here we come!

let your hair down.
sometimes it gets lonely here in the city.
it's dark. cold.
and far away from family.
that's when i listen to this song...
...and remember to just live!
{and it doesn't hurt to know i'm going to UT in 3 weeks!!!}
