a love, rekindled.
you had better believe we were at the grand opening of shake shack london! i had not-so patiently been for the last few months for this event, and i was thrilled once the day finally came around. we waited in line, along with the rest of london, for a good hour and a half before ordering. but with good friends and warm weather, it was an easy wait.
i was SO pleasantly surprised and relieved that the food is just as good as in new york—the buns melt in your mouth, the fries are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the concretes...OH the concretes! we are going back tomorrow and saturday to get more! don't be jealous! :)
***with an hour and a half line, we had to keep H busy. insert: build-a-bear***

no trip is complete without shake shack.
burgers and shakes are a must in this family. insert {shake shack}.
my kryptonite.
missing our other 2 cute boys who were working. we ate extra fries on their behalf.
motherhood is all about these tender moments. my sweetheart is learning to snuggle again
and enjoys showering her mama with sweet kisses.

how much weight can we gain in a week?
Today was another fun-filled day that makes me so excited to be living in the city, and twice as much when it's with my mom. We were supposed to go to Good Morning America this morning, but 5:15 a.m. rolled by way too early...and we slept in.
Once we finally woke up, we headed to a matinee of Whip It with Ellen Page and Drew Barrymore. I love Ellen Page's wit, and it turned out being a pretty funny movie. I'd recommend it. The movie followed with a needed trip to Shake Shack! That's right, once {or twice} a week has become the usual.
A chilly walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.

Walking off our lunch through Central Park. A bit breezy and cool,
but it was so beautiful seeing the changing of the leaves.

miracle strikes madison square park.
Try getting over the fact that we go to this place
once a week and focus on the sole phenomenon that
THERE'S NO LINE!

Not one single person standing...waiting...45 minutes!
And yes this was a pseudo Friday night. And yes it was dinner time.

Even Todd was happy we were there!
Magical.
