fancy that.

mr. president decided to throw some love to the e.village
as he and his car battalion drove right on through houston st.

from the east to the west, all houston was blocked
so the man could get to the four seasons.

not gonna lie, i squeeled a little as his caddy drove by, but in all honesty,
was the full nypd force and 30-car parade really necessary?

apparently he wanted to scream discrete.

lake powell.

hubs has finally returned from a week at lake powell, and i'm never letting him leave again!

early last week, todd and his ten scouts flew out to arizona for their high adventure. prior to the trip, three of the boys had never left the city, not to mention fly 2000 miles cross-country.  as the plane landed, i heard there were a few yelps and squeals from our newest sky-high passengers.

after spending their first night in arizona at my in-laws, the boys packed up two boats and headed to the lake. 3 nights, 4 new tires, and a dozen sunburns later, they were back to the airport and boarding an nyc-bound plane.

what an incredible experience it was for these boys to leave the city and gain a new perspective on the world. a few even learned to swim...

time flies...

...when you're cleaning!
wow, i've really neglected my poor blog haven't i?

i spent the last week at my parent's house
helping with a bit of spring cleaning—16 years worth!

having been emotionally unattached to half the stuff in there,
i was a human bulldozer crushing everything in sight.
{except for when it came to my stuff, of course}

being the organized freak i am,
i enjoyed cleaning as much as the 'rents enjoyed the results!
